The Onix Networking Corporation has just recently announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Centigon Solutions. Onix provides various types of IT services, which also include Geospatial Information Systems, and has been a partner of Google since 2001, having developed many types and kinds of apps.
Centigon creates software designed exclusively for geographic visualization and analysis. Their flagship product called ‘CMaps Analytics’, has been specifically created and designed for use by executives in the automotive, manufacturing, banking, and insurance industries.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Onix has become the first platinum level partner of Centigon. The advantages gained from this alliance are paramount. For instance, Onix will add the ‘CMaps Analytics’ product line in conjunction with the many Google maps that they currently offer.
As a result, customers will now have the ability to rapidly accelerate GIS based, software development projects. This will reduce software coding overhead significantly, and proliferate the adoption rate by all end users. More specifically, ‘CMaps’ will be used to further enhance the data which is available visually in Google Maps.
Because of getting a different perspective on this rich information, the decision making process on the part of key level executives should now be much quicker.
